The ILJCL is a chapter of the National Junior Classical League. Our purpose is to foster an appreciation and understanding of the ancient civilizations of Greece and Rome. One of many state chapters, the ILJCL hosts activities and events to promote the study of classics in our modern world.

The Nuntius if the official publication of the Illinois Junior Classical League, published 4 times a year. It covers topics like spirit, convention, interviews with JCLers, and much more! It is also now accepting student submissions.
