WELCOME TO THE ILJCL!

ILJCL North

The ILJCL is a chapter of the National Junior Classical League. Our purpose is to foster an appreciation and understanding of the ancient civilizations of Greece and Rome. One of many state chapters, the ILJCL hosts activities and events to promote the study of classics in our modern world.

Come to Convention!

Convention will be happening from Thursday, February 1 to Saturday, February 3, at Delta Hotels by Marriott (7800 Kingery Hwy, Willowbrook, IL 60527)! Come meet students from other schools, compete in Certamen, Graphics Arts, Creative Arts, and more!

Modern Myth Submissions

Submissions to the ILJCL Modern Myth competition are now open! Submissions are due Thursday, January 25th at midnight.

The Nuntius

The Nuntius is the official publication of the Illinois Junior Classical League, published 4 times a year. It covers topics like spirit, convention, interviews with JCLers, and much more! It is also now accepting student submissions.
